Highgrove Gardens
July 13, 2023

I am thrilled to be able to announce that we have managed to secure a visit to Highgrove Gardens this year. Always a very special trip, our visit includes a private guided tour of the gardens.

Having been twice before, this is the first time we will visit in July and as you know, the gardens offer something different, at different times of the year. Home to His Royal Highness King Charles III and the Queen Consort, a visit to Highgrove is very special and not something that comes round every year.
On this occasion we have the added benefit of being able to spend a little time in the beautiful town of Tetbury. Just a short drive from Highgrove itself, we will first drop into Tetbury where we will have around 90 minutes. Perfect to grab a light lunch or just enjoy a stroll around the picturesque town.
Once at Highgrove we will split in to two groups for the guided tour. Each group will be led by one of His Royal Highness’s expert garden guides through two miles of gardens. It should be noted that the garden routes are unmade with bumpy and uneven surfaces and that there are no seating facilities during the whole garden tour. The tours last 90 minutes.

Having finished the tours there will be a short amount of time to enjoy the delights of the Orchard Room for a tea or coffee and cake if you wish.
Of course, there will also be a chance to peruse the shop where you’ll find an extensive collection of artisan products, from beautiful home and garden ware to country attire, jewellery and even HRH King Charles III’s very own artwork.
