Having first seen this show at Chichester in August 2023, we already know what great a production it is and what a star Charlie Stemp has become. As part of the show’s 30th anniversary celebrations, CRAZY FOR YOU deservedly transfers to the West End at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.

Bobby Child is torn. On one hand he has his rich, demanding mother and wife who want him to follow in the family footsteps and start running a bank. On the other hand, is his passion: show-business. When he goes to Nevada to foreclose on a mortgage he meets the girl of his dreams, Polly, and decides to prove himself by putting on a show to win her love.

Based on the book by Ken Ludwig, this new adaptation will be directed and choreographed by Tony and Olivier Award winner Susan Stroman, with music by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin. Featuring the acting talents of the aforementioned Charlie Stemp (Half a Sixpence) and Carly Anderson (Wicked tour) this brilliant musical is guaranteed to bring joy to all who see it.

The wonderful Gershwin score includes the classic songs; I Got Rhythm, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Someone To Watch Over Me, Embraceable Me and They Can’t Take That Away From Me.
