London Bridge Day Trip

Leaving Dorking at 9am, today is designed for you to have a little freedom in choosing what to do.
The basic cost of the trip is £35 per person with the option to add a variety of features. I will look to organise visits to a matinee performance of the wonderful Guys & Dolls @ The Bridge Theatre. For any Elvis fans, Direct form Graceland, the Elvis Exhibition at The Arches, London Bridge is a must. For those not having done it before, or if you just want to return, why not take in the View from The Shard. I can even get us a lunch time booking at The Ivy, Tower Bridge. All of these are within a relatively easy walk from our drop off point. Tell me what you would like to do and then sit back and relax whilst I try and make it happen!
You can of course just find your own things to do during the day. Visit Borough Market or Southwark Cathedral. Admire the Hays Galleria or take a tour of HMS Belfast. There won’t be time to do all the things mentioned but, if it proves popular and you want to cross off more things from your sightseeing to do list, perhaps we could return later in the year.
The London Bridge area has so much to choose from, I thought it would be nice to try and make the day bespoke to you. Let me know what you would like to do and once I have heard from enough people, I will set about putting the perfect day together for each and every one of you!
Guys & Dolls – having seen this great production last year, I know some people were interested in returning. Others have asked if I would ever do a matinee visit. So here we are.
Elvis Exhibition – recently extended until April, Direct from Graceland has proved a sure fire hit with his fans, and anyone else with an interest in the history of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and features 400 largely unreleased artefacts charting the King’s humble beginnings to his meteoric rise to fame.
The View from The Shard – one of London’s most iconic modern buildings, The Shard offers unparalleled 360-degree panoramic views of one of the greatest cities in the world. With a bar and restaurant options available, relax as you take in the views.
Lunch @ The Ivy, Tower Bridge – if you fancy a treat for lunch, join us at one of the most famous names in the business. The Ivy, Tower Bridge offers a great value two course set lunch menu, with upgrades and further courses available if you so desire.
After a day full of happy memories, we will leave London Bridge at around 5.30pm, with a view to arriving back in Dorking at around 7.30pm.
