Afternoon Tea and Illuminations Trail

Following last year’s success of including a food offering along with the Christmas Illuminations, this year we visit RHS Wisley with time beforehand to enjoy the gardens, whilst it is light, followed by Afternoon Tea before exploring the famous and ever popular Wisley Glow Illuminations. 

Leaving Dorking at 1.15pm we should arrive at Wisley with 90 minutes or so free time to enjoy the gardens whilst light or, if you prefer you can peruse the wonderful shop.

At around 3.30pm we will take Afternoon Tea, after which it’s time to explore the annual Christmas Illuminations. One of the most popular illuminations in the county, RHS Wisley has been wowing guests with their display for many years now. If Afternoon Tea wasn’t enough there will be food concessions at the start and end of the trail along with a hut en route offering all the festive favourites from mulled wine to hot chocolate.

Visiting Wisley wouldn’t be complete without time to visit the shop, and so if something caught your eye earlier in the visit, you should have time to make a purchase before we re-board the coach and head for home.

Keeping things nice and relaxed throughout our time at Wisley, we anticipate being back to the Dorking Halls at 7.45pm.
