The Full Monty

Following the success of our previous trips to both the New Wimbledon and Richmond Theatres, we return to the New Wimbledon Theatre, this time to enjoy The Full Monty. The award-winning play comes from the pen of the writer of the original screenplay of one of the most successful British films of all time. Can you believe 2027 is the 30th Anniversary of the iconic film, and so the boys are returning with a major national tour to celebrate!

There are no heroes in Simon Beaufoy’s heartfelt play, just a group of lads trying to regain their dignity and pride. This fast and funny play is still very much of our time, as again we are hit by a cost-of-living crisis.

Gaz and his mates are down on their luck and feel they have been thrown on the scrap heap, but they are determined to fight back and bare a little more than they ever thought they would have to.

As in the 1997 smash hit film, this production is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, laughs and heartbreak.
