Hever In Bloom with Afternoon Tea
Having visited Hever Castle for the Christmas Illuminations back in 2024, many people asked if we could visit during the summer. What better time to visit than for Hever in Bloom, which showcases the glorious gardens at the height of their summer beauty, with one of the finest displays of roses and summer blooms in the ‘Garden of England’. Many of the castle rooms will also be filled with floral arrangements created by their florist.

Leaving at 9.30am, we should arrive in plenty of time to use the facilities before heading through the grounds to the Rose Garden, where we can join a public tour if we wish. Alternatively, take things at your own pace and enjoy all that the castle and gardens have to offer. With an audio guide included for the castle, the day really is ours to do as we please.
In addition to various kiosks situated around the grounds, The Moat Restaurant and Grab & Go features both a sit-down table service and a takeaway section if you are on the go. Either way, don’t eat too much, as we have Afternoon Tea included in our visit at 2.30pm. Following our Afternoon Tea, a little time remains for one last look around. Now might be the ideal time to visit the Hever Castle & Gardens shop, featuring a wonderful selection of products – from seasonal plants, local food and drink, to china, books, unique gifts and mementoes of your time at Hever.
Having enjoyed a full day at Hever, we plan on leaving at around 5pm with a view to arriving back in Dorking at about 6.15pm.
