Leeds Castle – Christmas Lights

Following the popularity of our previous Christmas Lights Trails, once again we have a new destination to discover this December. Nestled in the heart of Kent, the glamorous and historic Leeds Castle will be transformed into a winter wonderland, adorned with enchanting Christmas lights and decorations.

Leaving at a very civilised midday, upon arrival we will have free time to explore the castle. With a self-guided tour, we can take things at our own pace before heading to the visitor centre, where there will be time to peruse the shopping opportunities and to use the facilities.

As things become dark, we head off on the Christmas Lights Trail. Once again, all at our own pace, we step into a sparkling world of light and colour, following an enchanting, illuminated trail through the castle’s stunning grounds. With mesmerising light displays and immersive moments along the way, it’s an unforgettable festive evening for family and friends.

Wander through the iconic Christmas Cathedral, a shimmering spectacle of light and holiday spirit, revisit the fan-favourite Fire Garden, step into the futuristic Laser Garden, and marvel at the Water Fountain Show. Plus, enjoy festive treats from our food and beverage stalls, from warming hot chocolate to seasonal delicacies.

Taking approximately 90 minutes to complete the trail, there will be opportunities to pause along the way. Having taken in the magical atmosphere of this much-loved event, we will head back to the coach for our journey home. Subject to traffic, we are likely to arrive back in Dorking at around 8pm.
