Leonard Vole is accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth. The stakes are high. Will Leonard survive the shocking witness testimony? Will he be able to convince the jury of his innocence and escape the hangman’s noose?
Having previously visited on a number of occasions, interest continues to be high to see what has become a permanent fixture on the South Bank. If you haven’t yet seen it, this landmark and Olivier Award nominated stage production, really is worth a visit.
